Organic farming is popular around the world as it can diversify agricultural production systems towards attaining improved productivity, enterprise income and environmental safety. This study aims to study and evaluate farmer’s perception towards organic vegetable farming and issues related with it. It also assists to select and point out the issues concerned with organic vegetable farming in the study area for further development of sustainable farming practices. A total of 83 farmers of Kushma Municipality, Pang were randomly selected from two villages based on present farming experience. Information was collected using semi-structured questionnaires in April and May 2021. The multiple regression analysis results showed that age, literacy level, household labor, farm income and extension agent visit significantly contributed to farmers’ perception on organic vegetable production. Moreover, literacy level, experience, natural water resources and farmers’ networks or groups significantly contributed to farmers’ perception on organic vegetable production.
